Blue Ribbons started to pop up all over Croydon. Nobody knew what the ribbons represented and discussions and conversations began to raise as everyone was wondering what they represented and who was putting them there. Soon people were being redirected to the facebook page and there soon became a high demand for ribbons and conversations regarding knife crime and youth violence began. At this point the blue ribbons represented (Kelva) a life lost to youth violence. Everyone who felt passionate about the cause jumped on board and orders for ribbons began to come in. The ribbons were being placed all over Croydon the community. The purple ribbon was then introduced to represent another life lost in Croydon (Andre) an both colour ribbons spread to neighbouring boroughs.
